It Doesn't Turn Over Slow Now

For 43 years this KZ1000 has had the problem of cranking over slow. Brand new YU_SA batteries and it still sounded tired. Well that problem is no longer a concern for me. This NLP20 spins it over like the spark plugs were removed. Starts better and faster now than it did the day I drove it off the showroom floor in 1981. Bravo NOCO I'm loving it.

So Far, Impressive

Replaced my old lithium of 5 years with this recently. Review: Professional packaging. Battery design more impressive. Gold multi-positional terminals give it functional & regal appeal. Slightly heavier but lithium is alway light. Power: CCA is improved and handled my overstuffed custom engine with ease. Also purchased their matched charger. Verdict is still out due to newness but current recommendation is A grade.

Works Perfect

Used as the power supply for a 2009 Ski-Doo Renegade X 800P. Worked perfectly all season. Weighs probably 1/2 of what a normal lead acid weighs. Never an issue starting when cold soaked. Would highly recommend pairing with a Noco smart trickle charger for the off season. I will be buying more

NO COLD

Useless below minus 10 Celsius. Tried it in my 2015 renegade , would not crank unless battery was warmed up. Stick to AGM for snowmobiles. Will only work in summertime power sports.

Won’t Turn Over

Dec 23-24. 52’ Fahrenheit, stored indoors
I have an AIH Texas chopper 2000cc S and S engine, NLP20
I have only started the bike about 10 times
It worked good til now
On the third attempt all the power went out
I disconnected it
Recharged it with a NOCO 2 amp lithium charger
The lights now come on but it won’t engage the solenoid or move the starter
I put in my old lead acid battery and it moved the starter
It’s a big ask to get that engine to roll over in less than 70’ Fahrenheit
For either battery
NOCO should make a higher amperage battery in the NLP20 case as an option
I don’t have room in the battery box for a larger unit
I think the battery management system died,
Anybody know how to revive it?
