Swapped my Himalayan gel battery out for this. Regret it now!
It was never great from day one. Starting the bike, it seems to put out such little power that the clocks went off when I started the bike and I had to reset the time on the dash clock from 00:00 after starting it. It is apparently I direct replacement for the OEM battery, but that’s not been my experience at all.
I kept it on a genius charger from NOCO to try to see if that would help, but it didn’t really.
After 10 months, it seems to have failed completely from what I can see. It is putting out 11.6v which drops to 7v when you turn the key, and won’t seem charge at all now. It’s been plugged in for days and still at below 12v.
Frustrated because I paid twice what I would have paid for a good quality gel battery. Because I bought through Amazon, NOCO is refusing to refund me. Amazon won’t refund me because the warranty is with NOCO and it is more than 30 days after my purchase.
NOCO have offered to replace it if it is faulty, but I don’t want another one of these anywhere near my bike after this awful experience.
Very disappointed and out of pocket by £100 and now need to spend another £35-50 on the OEM battery I should have got in the first place.
