Question

Thank you for letting me join. I am buying a Minn Kota 36v.

I just bought 3 X 12v 100ah lipo4 batteries and connected them in series to provide 36v.

My question is not 100% sure, whether I can use Noco Genius 10 X 3 banks charger to charge the batteries without disconnecting the 36v wires.

It is fine to leave the 36v set up and charge it or do I need to disconnect and charge it ?

Great Value

One feature that is missing (and seems to be missing from all onboard chargers) is for the charger to come out of float on some sort of timed schedule. Restart the charging process. This way if there is a load on the battery greater than the float charge amperage you wouldn't end up with a dead battery.

Where Is Support For Product

This seems to be an exercise in futility trying to get support and or warranty. I contacted support and spent a long time trying to explain what my charger was doing in CHAT. Why is it so difficult to contact them by phone . My GPro that I bought in June 23 worked good the 2 times I used it last year ..I took my boat out of storage and was getting it ready for the fishing opener , I hooked up the charger and banks 1&2 keep cycling when it gets to 2 bars then starts over . Bank 3 works fine on my starting battery. I tested banks 1&2 by connecting them to my starting battery and they do the same thing . Now you might say it's the batteries but the are both new in June of 23 and I used a volt meter and they show 12.6 volts .
So this was on Tuesday 4/09/24 and support said they needed my receipt for the unit to start a warranty which I sent . It is now Friday and 3 emails later I can't get a reply . Sure is nice to spend 324oo and get this kind of customer support.

Did Not Work Out Of The Box. Where Is Quality Control?

Was so excited to hook up my Noco 10x3 charger to my new lithiums for my trolling motor. Get it out if the box and the Bank 3 button does not "click" like bank 1 and bank 2. I cannot get it to change modes or activate bank 3 at all. Tried changing batteries and it did not matter. So glad I spent $300 on this charger for it to be broken out of the box.
