LEDs

Power LED

Illuminates White when unit is "on".

Cold LED

Illuminates solid Blue; unit is fully operational, but approaching lower temperature limit. Flashing Blue; unit is too cold to jump start, only flashlight is available in this state.

Hot LED

Illuminates solid Red; unit is fully operational, but approaching upper temperature limit. Flashing Red; unit is too hot to jump start, only flashlight is available in this state.

Error LED

Illuminates Red if reverse polarity is detected, or blinks “on” and “off” in various sequences (from 1 to 6 blinks) to convey error conditions.

Charge LEDs

Indicates the charge level of the internal battery.

Boost LED

Illuminates White when Boost is active. LED flashes White when Manual Overide feature is active.

Buttons

Power Button

Push to turn unit “on” & “off” or restart boost after 60-second timeout.

Manual Override

To enable, push and hold for three (3) seconds. WARNING: Disables safety protection and manually forces Boost "On". Only for use when a battery is too low to be detected.

Light Mode

Toggles the ultra-bright LED light through 7 light modes: 100% > 50% > 10% > SOS > Blink > Strobe > Off

60 Second Timer

Power LED will illuminate orange after the 60-second timeout countdown. Remove the clamps from the Car Battery or power the unit 'off' and back 'on' again to jump start.

Voltmeter

The built-in voltmeter reads the voltage of the vehicle’s battery for enhanced diagnostics and troubleshooting. It will display the 60-second timeout countdown.

Error

Reason/Solution

Error LED: Solid Red

Error LED: Solid Red

Reverse polarity / Reverse the battery connections.

Error LED: Blinking Red w/Cables Connected Properly

Short circuit detected at the clamps. / Have battery checked by a professional.

Single (1) Flash

Short circuit detected on battery clamps. / Remove all loads, reconnect clamps to battery.

Double (2) Flash

High voltage detected at clamps (the GB251 is connected to a voltage system greater than 24V).

Quadruple (4) Flash

Charge timeout error (i.e. the GB251 has been in bulk charge for too long)

Quintuple (5) Flash

XGC OUT over current (i.e. more than 15amps is being drawn from the XGC OUT port)

Sextuple (6) Flash

BMS (Battery Management System) Fault. (Power GB251 "off" and "on" again to clear. If problem persists contact Customer Support)
