About California Proposition 65

Safety Information

Proposition 65 informs California consumers to warnings for products that contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm if exposure to such chemicals reach above certain threshold levels. We know you’re concerned about product safety, and The NOCO Company takes all necessary steps to comply with all applicable safety and health requirements. California has identified hundreds of these chemicals, including lead, carbon monoxide, and phthalates. While many NOCO products do not contain such chemicals, it is reasonably foreseeable that the normal use of a NOCO product could expose consumers to several listed chemicals (e.g. while jump starting a battery a consumer may be exposed to lead on the battery terminals). Out of an abundance of caution and in consultation with legal counsel, NOCO will include a "short-form" warning that complies with Section 25602 of Chapter 27 of the California Code of Regulations on all products: WARNING Cancer and Reproductive Harm - www.P65Warnings.ca.gov
