CHARGE MODE LED GUIDE.

All Error Conditions are displayed with the Error LED and Standby LED flashing back and forth. The number of flashes between each pulse denotes a potential Error Condition (except reverse polarity and low-voltage battery). Read below for a guide on the charging modes of the NOCO GX Series Industrial Chargers.

Single Flash

The battery will not hold a charge and should be checked by a professional.

Double Flash

Possible battery short, and should be verified by a professional.

Triple Flash

Battery voltage is too high for the selected charge mode. Double check the battery matches the charge mode.

Error LED

The battery voltage is too low for the battery charger to detect the battery.

Standby LED

In Standby mode, the charger is not charging or providing any power to the industrial battery. Energy Save is activated during this mode, drawing microscopic power from the electrical outlet. When flashing, the battery voltage is too low for the battery charger to detect the battery.

36V Norm Mode

Designed for charging deep-cycle 48-volt lead acid battery systems, including wet cell, gel cell, enhanced flooded, calcium, and maintenance-free.

36V Cold/AGM Mode

Designed for charging deep-cycle 48-volt AGM battery systems, or all types of lead-acid 48-volt battery systems in cold temperatures below 50 F (10 C).

36V AGM Mode

Designed for charging 48-volt advanced AGM battery systems, which requires a high charging voltages for deep cycle battery applications.

36V Lithium Mode

Designed for charging 48-volt lithium-ion battery systems that include a battery maintenance system (BMS), including lithium iron phosphate batteries.

36V Repair Mode

Converts to a DC power supply for powering any 24V DC device.

36V Supply Mode

Used to repair old, idle, damaged, stratified, or sulfated batteries.
