IMPORTANT: Please read these Stories Terms carefully before participating in NOCO Stories. The Stories Terms incorporate the NOCO website Terms of Use which require the use of arbitration on an individual basis to resolve disputes, rather than jury trials or class actions.   

Through NOCO Stories, we invite you to join a growing collection of narratives that inspire by sharing stories about impactful moments, projects, and experiences.  

By participating in NOCO Stories and submitting your information and content through the “Share Your Story” webform, you, on behalf of yourself or any entity you represent (“the Contributor” or “you”), represent and warrant that you have read, understand, and accept the NOCO Stories Terms and Conditions (“Stories Terms”), as they may be modified from time to time, and you expressly consent and agree to be bound by them. By accepting these Stories Terms, you also agree to the NOCO website Terms of Use, available at https://no.co/terms-of-use, including but not limited to the agreement to arbitrate, which are incorporated herein by reference. Capitalized terms used but not defined in these Stories Terms have the meaning given to them in the NOCO website Terms of Use and/or the NOCO Company Privacy Policy, available at https://no.co/privacy-policy/. Without limiting anything in these Stories Terms, “Stories Content” (as used and defined herein) also constitutes “Content” under the website Terms of Use. 

These Stories Terms are a legal and binding agreement between you and The NOCO Company (“NOCO,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) governing your participation in NOCO Stories, including the “Share Your Story” submission process (“NOCO Stories”). IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE NOCO STORIES TERMS, YOU CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN NOCO STORIES.  


In order to participate in NOCO Stories, you must be at least 18 years old and reside in a territory where the “Share Your Story” portion of the Website is made available. By completing the “Share Your Story” submission process, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.

No automated entry devices or programs are permitted, and only fully completed entry forms are eligible for submission. NOCO reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of NOCO Stories or any other portion of the Website. NOCO may prohibit any person from participating in NOCO Stories if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said person is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of NOCO Stories or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person.

We may modify these Stories Terms from time to time. If we revise the Stories Terms, those changes will appear on this page and the “Last Updated” line will be updated. Modifications take effect as soon as they are posted to this page on the Website. You agree to review these Stories Terms regularly because you will be bound by any changes made, and your continued use of NOCO Stories constitutes agreement to any modified terms. 

We may at any time, for any reason, and without notice or liability to you: (i) suspend or terminate operation of or access to NOCO Stories or any portion thereof; (ii) change, revise, replace, or modify NOCO Stories or any portion thereof; (iii) interrupt the operation of NOCO Stories or any portion thereof; (iv) impose limits on certain features and services, or restrict access to NOCO Stories; and/or (v) terminate the authorization, rights, and licenses granted herein. 

By submitting any materials in connection with NOCO Stories—including but not limited to written stories, photos, videos, URLs, social media handles, product mentions, and other content, and any name, voice, or likeness contained therein (collectively, the “Stories Content”)—you hereby grant to NOCO a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive, fully paid, sublicensable, and transferable license to:


• Use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, create derivative works of, and display the Stories Content in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed, in connection with NOCO’s business, including for the purposes of featuring the Stories Content (including as may be modified by NOCO) on our Website, social media, email marketing, advertising, printed materials, and in any other current or future media or promotional platform; and

• Edit or combine your Stories Content with other materials as we see fit, without notice or compensation.

You understand that your Stories Content will be treated as non-confidential and may be used in connection with our products, brand messaging, or promotional activities. You also understand that we are under no obligation to use any Stories Content, and that we will not be liable or responsible in the event we do not use your Stories Content or for our use of your Stories Content in accordance with these Stories Terms.

By submitting Stories Content, you also hereby grant to third parties who access the Website and other media on which we have displayed or featured your Stories Content, a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive, fully paid, sublicensable, and transferable license to use that Stories Content in accordance with the NOCO website Terms of Use. 

By completing the “Share Your Story” submission process and participating in NOCO Stories, you represent, warrant, and covenant that:

• You are the original creator and sole and exclusive owner of the Stories Content, or you have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to submit the Stories Content and to grant us the license described in these Stories Terms;

• The Stories Content does not infringe, violate, or misappropriate on any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights;

• You will only submit appropriate, respectful, and lawful material to NOCO, meaning that the Stories Content is free from any material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, or libelous, and does not promote bigotry, racism, hatred, or harm against any group or individual or discrimination of any kind;

• The Stories Content does not disparage NOCO or any other person or party; 

• You have the appropriate consent of any individuals featured in the Stories Content; 

• All information provided by you to us is based on real experiences and is true and accurate; and

• No Stories Content or portion of the Stories Content has been generated or created using artificial intelligence (“AI”), including generative AI tools, except for the use of AI-enabled tools to merely assist you in error checking the Stories Content (such as to spell or grammar check the Stories Content you have created). 

• You understand that you, and not us, are responsible for your Stories Content, and that under no circumstances will we be liable in any way for or related to any Stories Content you or others provide, including but not limited to any errors or omissions in the Stories Content and any loss or damage resulting from use or reliance on any Stories Content on the Website. You shall immediately [notify us] upon your becoming aware of any breach of the Stories Terms, including any breach of the above representations, warranties, or covenants with respect to your Stories Content. 

NOCO will be collecting Personal Information in accordance with the NOCO Company Privacy Policy, available at https://no.co/privacy-policy/. We may use the Personal Information you provide in connection with NOCO Stories to: (i) contact you about your submission and/or Stories Content; (ii) request additional information or media; (iii) clarify usage rights or permissions, or to request third-party releases, authorizations, or consents; and (iv) feature your name, bio, location, or social media in connection with Stories Content promotion. 

By participating in NOCO Stories, you hereby agree to NOCO’s collection and use of your Personal Information in accordance with the NOCO Company Privacy Policy.

You acknowledge that you will not receive compensation, payment, or credit for the use of your Stories Content, unless explicitly agreed upon in a writing signed by NOCO or as otherwise required by applicable law.

If you are compensated for your Stories Content, you understand and agree that you are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with such compensation.

We reserve the right to refuse, remove, or discontinue use of any Stories Content at our sole discretion, without obligation to notify you, including if we find that the Stories Content contains inappropriate material or false information, or violates these Stories Terms. We also reserve the right to, in our sole discretion, remove or disqualify any NOCO Stories submission, or prohibit future submissions, if NOCO believes, in its sole discretion, that the Contributor has failed to conform to the requirements outlined in these Stories Terms.  

These Stories Terms constitute the entire agreement with respect to NOCO Stories and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings, representations, statements, or agreements, written or oral. No amendment to, modification of, or waiver of any provision of the Stories Terms will be binding on NOCO without NOCO’s written consent.
