Brand new straight from a sealed box the charger port does not work properly. You need to set the unit on the charging cable to maintain a sideways pressure. if you lift the unit up it stops charging.
Will be returning to the store for another unit.
I am a boater and am buying this in the case of an emergency, so I do not get stranded at the dock or on the water. Certainly hope it discharges when required better than it charges or I am going to be in trouble.
