Knowing The Difference between Wall Charging Vs. 12V Fast Charging

NOCO Genius Boost UltraSafe Jump Starters are compatible with wall charging as a method to recharge your unit. By utilizing the USB Charge Cables, charging time of your NOCO Genius Boost will vary depending on the discharge levels and the amperage used to charge the unit. In addition to wall charging, specific models, such as the GB70 and the GB150, have the option of the 12V fast charge as another way to recharge.

By connecting the NOCO Genius Boost 12V Cable into your car's 12V AUX Plug, this will enable the usage of fast charging, which is the fastest method of charging. By charging for 15 minutes with the fast charge, you can use the unit to jump start your vehicle!

Charging the GB20.

Connect the GB20 using the included USB Charge Cable to the USB IN port and the USB car charger. It can also be recharged from any USB powered port, like an AC adapter, car charger, laptop and more. The USB IN port is rated at 2.1 Amps to ensure safe and efficient charging of the internal lithium battery. Due to FCC regulations, we recommend not to charge and discharge the unit at the same time. The time to recharge a GB20 will differ based on the discharge level and the power source used. Actual results may vary due to battery conditions.

Charging the GB40.

Connect the GB40 using the included USB Charge Cable to the USB IN port and the USB car charger. It can also be recharged from any USB powered port, like an AC adapter, car charger, laptop and more.
