GX Industrial Chargers Overview
Read below for an overview of the GX Industrial Battery Chargers.
1.) Mode Button
The Mode Button allows for switching between different smart charging options.
2.) AC In
The AC Input draws electricity from any standard outlet into the Genius Charger.
3.) DC Out
The AC power from the outlet is converted to DC power, or directed to a male smart charging
4.) GX Out
The GX male end allows for a variety of accessories to be connected individually.
5.) Charge LEDs
The Charge LED indicates the connected battery’s state-of-charge. It will "breathe" red while charging, and turn solid green when the battery is fully charged.
6.) Standby
In Standby mode, the charger is not charging or providing any power to the battery. Energy Save is activated during this mode, drawing microscopic power from the electrical outlet. When selected, an orange LED will illuminate.
7.) 24V Norm
For charging Wet Cell, Gel Cell, Enhanced Flooded, Maintenance-Free and Calcium batteries. When selected, a white LED will illuminate.
8.) 24V Cold/AGM
For charging batteries in cold temperatures below 50ºF (10ºC) or AGM batteries. When selected, a blue LED will illuminate.
9.) AGM+
For charging advanced AGM batteries, which requires a higher than normal charging voltage. When selected, a blue LED will illuminate.
10.) 24V Lithium-Ion
For charging lithium-ion batteries, including lithium iron phosphate. When selected, a blue LED will illuminate.
11.) 24V Repair Mode
An advanced battery recovery mode for repairing and storing, old, idle, damaged, stratified or sulfated batteries. When selected, a red LED will illuminate and flash.
12.) 24V Supply Mode
Converts to a DC power supply. When selected, a red LED will illuminate.
13.) Error LED
All Error Conditions are displayed with the Error LED and Standby LED flashing back and forth. The number of flashes between each pulse denotes a potential Error Condition (except reverse polarity and low-voltage battery).
