This product is exactly what I needed for the larger batteries I am going to install on my camper. I liked the ones of the same brand that my (Group 24 size) that the camper had originally so I looked for the same type. There is a hold-down strap included, but I don't intend to use it. I will simply screw the boxes to the angle iron mounting frame and let the snaps hold the top on. That is the way my present ones are mounted and they have worked well for two years. If you want the snap-top, be sure to order the BKS model.

Great value, great features for my marine battery
Bought a large deep cycle marine battery for my CPAP, and wanted something to house battery in my bedroom, and contain any potential battery leakage. This thing was perfect. There is a movable divider in the box to keep battery from shifting around, which will accommodate every car or marine sized battery I've seen. Comes with strap and hardware to mount box to vehicle/vessel if required. Handles on each end of the box make my 65lb. battery easy to pick up with two hands and carry, much better than using the battery handle mounted to the center of the battery. This is a very good value and I'm glad I did not spend two to three times as much for other similar boxes.
