Jump Start Feature Worth the Money

I recently discovered that my car battery was dead as a door nail. I hadn't realized I had left my keys in the ignition of my car with it turned to accessories until the battery had been drained. Still sick with the flu, and not wanting to bother neighbors (who I don't really know very well), I ordered the NOCO Genius G15000 12V/24V 15A Pro Series UltraSafe Smart Battery Charger from Amazon. I paid for a rush delivery and went back to bed, trying to fight the flu. I knew I was too sick to be going anywhere and wouldn't need my car. The battery charger was delivered the next afternoon. After studying the instructions, I tried to charge my battery. Nothing. I emailed NOCO's customer service and received a response in a few hours. Evidently, if a battery is drained so badly that it has less than a 15% charge left in it, the battery won't charge. What you do instead is to use the "jump start" function to deliver a charge to the battery. Although the car didn't start with the first jump start, the door chime started working so I knew there was now some juice in the battery. I waited the allotted amount of time (I think it was 15 or 30 minutes) before giving my battery a second "jump start," I tried again and my car started!!! I love this battery charger - it has features like the "jump start" that other cheaper chargers do not have.

Yes, I recommend this product.
